Zanafi rugs have taken after the name of the Zanafi tribe in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. They are single-knot kilims, traditionally only made in black and white and distinguished by simple diamond patterns and parallel stripes. More recently, artisans have been creating colorful Zanafis, lending a dash of happiness to their customers’ interiors. Zanafis are highly resistant to wear and tear and are easy to maintain. They can easily make their way into many homes thanks to their high versatility of use; you can fill up an empty wall with this piece of art, use it as a bed throw to create an oriental feel, or add it into your child’s playroom.
